Economic empowerment is more than financial independence; it creates opportunities that transform lives, families, and communities.
In Kajiado County, women, in a report, have shared aspirations ranging from running bead-making businesses to venturing into poultry farming and opening salons.
These dreams reflect a desire for financial independence, poverty eradication, and better opportunities for their children.
However, they face barriers, including a lack of capital, limited financial literacy, restricted market access, and cultural challenges that limit their decision-making power.
