Due to the situation in Sydney and the number of visitors from there expected to be here over Christmas, we have decided to reintroduce the Covid rules once again at the course, starting from tomorrow morning. No rakes, preferred lies in bunkers, pins must not be handled. Cheers.

The new Vets shirts have arrived!!! Well, most of them, men's large and extra large are delayed. All the others are available from Bob on Tuesday, for a measly $10! Please bring the right money and pick them up. Cheers.

Normally bunkers are dressed on Friday, but that didn't happen last week. Hopefully that is a one off event.

Had a meeting with Peter Rickard this afternoon. Peter assures me that the flag positions will follow the Front, Middle, Back rotation system from here on. We discussed rakes, jury is out on that at this stage. Bunker issues last Saturday were from staff not being available.

Thanks to all those members who came to the AGM and Presentation. Record time for completion, free drinks, no voting and a full committee for next year, great result. The new amenities between the 3rd green and 14th tee open tomorrow. Thanks to all concerned.

Club Champs Rnd 3. All players have been placed in grade groups for Sunday. Your tee time will be within that group. Actual tee times will be posted on Miclub around 7 pm Saturday after the days results are published and I can do the seeding within grades. Good luck to all.

Wildlife update. One of the big black and white geese we seem to have collected from somewhere has had chicks. 11 of them. Some yellow, some black, and some I'm not sure. They are very small, brand new, so please watch out when driving, both a cart and a golf ball.

Congratulations to John Marks, hole in one on the 6th this morning. John is preparing a power point presentation on the feat for later showing at the clubhouse and has documentary evidence by way of a photo of a ball in a hole. Well done John.
