@JohnForier38809 That's the thing indian government nor federation nor the general people doesn't care about football here . For them to care india need to perform better for that we need pios
@JohnForier38809 Dude there were origin players in their history, there were even naturalised players player for thier national team as well . India needs a push for popularising the game here . Pios can give that push , maybe in 10 yrs we could be able to produce good quality players.
@JohnForier38809 They don't use diaspora players now as they're grassroot is one among the best in the world but there was a time when they used diaspora players
@JohnForier38809 In the 90 when the japan started they needed a push as football wasn't the popular sport there and their good performance in the World Cup gave that push
@JohnForier38809 I wasn't talking about Germany , I was talking about morraco which uses players from Spain, Netherlands etc to be the best african nation . Their strong performance in at world cup had a great impact. Now they started producing good local players as well
@JohnForier38809 Japan used to bring orgin players in the 90s . They qualified to their first world cup using this. These origin players helped japan popularise the game there which in turn brought heavy investments in grassroots.
@aaa8yan A player need to stay in india for 2 years to get passport and I don't think the sports passport would be implemented, there are many barriers and there will be resistance from many groups as well
@Adipolibro__@devuuux13 We don't know if it would ever gonna pass. There will be many barriers , many groups will oppose it . Eventually its gonna get dropped
