"The Ten Commandments are just as valid today as they were when God gave them. They reflect the moral character of God, and they also provide the foundation of right living with others." —Billy Graham
The biggest problem isn’t just the abduction. It’s the silence that follows. Days pass, Nigerians are left guessing, and no one seems to feel obligated to keep the public informed.
"Noah was saved because he put his trust in God. The days of Noah are returning to earth, and a catastrophe as great as the flood awaits those who refuse to enter into the ark of salvation, which is Jesus Christ." Billy Graham
A leader who treats national security as a political game does not deserve to remain in Aso Rock beyond 2027. Nigerians must vote him out. The President can receive delegations for Sallah visits at his Lagos residence, yet he cannot visit the victims of the Ogbomoso tragedy. He can attend the coronation of the Olubadan, but cannot visit the very people who elected him. A delegation was reportedly sent to visit the victims, but it could not pay a courtesy visit to Governor Seyi Makinde. To make matters worse, a vehicle branded with a 2027 Tinubu re election campaign message was reportedly spotted during the visit. What exactly is this hypocrisy about? Why is politics being played with the lives and suffering of Nigerians? At moments like this, leadership should be about compassion, empathy, and solidarity, not political calculations.
