Hell, people in Toronto pay enough in taxes per annum to fund the busted TTC, 5 times over, with enough left over for the PC's to line their pockets.

Listening to @metromorning on how much people pay for public transit. We spend so much time talking about people dodging fares but little on how some pay multiple fares depending on how far they're traveling on transit. When I lived in Mississauga, I paid 3 fares to get to work.

Does anyone else remember a radio PSA from the early or mid 1980s in which a stern male voice said “It’s now 8:00 pm. Do you know where your child is?”
