I’d feel a lot better about it all if I felt I could trust people to draw a line of acceptable behavior somewhere before me.

@NoHolyScripture Of course everything has an explanation, but if God doesn’t exist, it seems highly unlikely that we’ll ever figure it all out. God’s just the one who has it all figured out. If he can’t exist, intelligent life peaks somewhere before achieving what he allegedly has.

@knightofscience @JimmaJammaDude @TheCougChron I try to avoid mocking people, regardless of whether I think they’re in the room or not, and encourage others to do the same where I can. I have a particularly complicated relationship with the flag, but I’m open to ideas on how else to help people feel less scared.

Frankly, I think it’s destructive to suggest that the only people gay people should feel safe around are those who fly the right flag.
