Labour are backtracking on a plan to help save birds: by blocking a new rule that would make developers put a £35 nest brick in every new home. They think it'll help win them votes - we need to show it would do the opposite. Sign the petition https://t.co/dMyd7ej5ob
Foolishly I briefly engaged with social media this morning. I curbed my knee-jerk response to one particular hot-topic and here’s my response. We all live in the same (tiny) place @EarthFlag_
@mrmarksteel My word, this seems like a lifetime ago for me (actually only 10 months) Oromorph is great stuff but nobody talks about getting off it which was one of the most difficult parts of my tongue cancer journey. If I can help you in any way Mark do not hesitate to contact me. x
@MrMatthewTodd It’s too late to become an activist - it’s time to become a survivalist, to build community and resilience. But I fear that no amount of stored food and water will save most of us. There’s probably going to be a rapid shift and reduction in the habitable places available to us.
Theres a good reason that brass is so often used on soundtracks. I laughed, I cried, I was overwhelmed - what a great evening, I left feel energised despite tue fact that nobody followed my lead on the standing ovation!
Literally, metaphorically and emotionally blow away by the @EofECoopBand ! Absolutely fabulous, I grinned through the entire evening. Brass bands are so emotive & transporting
. . . and it’s difficult when they’re rubbish at it! But with practice they’re getting better. Treat others as you’d like to be treated. Let’s live with a bit more love eh?
I learned trumpet, drums and guitar I’d be in jail if anyone complained! I have a neighbour who’s learning drums, I accept it as my chance to pay it back.
