See. SLAAAVERY is the ONLY thing that fits your narrative.
It's 165 years later. Nobody wants it (except Democrats and Islamists) but you can't get over it. You're f*cking wrong. They inherited it, mostly from New England slavers, where it was accepted for a long time by both sections. It became entrenched in the South, and not because of any great desire for it. Most people didn't give a damn about it, and would have gotten rid of it had there been an easy way to do it.
