The ABCA is proud to announce ABCA Hall of Famer John Anderson as the 2027 recipient of the prestigious ABCA / @wilsonballglove Lefty Gomez Award.

Over nearly five decades at the University of Minnesota, through his leadership with USA Baseball, and in countless ways behind the scenes, Anderson's impact has reached far beyond one program. His influence has been felt by coaches, student-athletes and the game itself at the local, national and international levels.

Congratulations to Coach Anderson on one of the highest honors in baseball and a recognition that reflects a remarkable lifetime of service to our game.

We flew to Denver to see him at Red Rocks last nite but postponed until Sept hours prior... then watched a video of him and his sons flying to the World Cup and cheering Scotland loudly-with his "severe resp. issues and inflamed vocal cords". Shame.

@lyft selected the ride was higher priced and that showed 2 minutes away and as soon as I confirmed it, time changed to 10 minutes, and it's now showing 20. No refund. 3rd time this has happened with Lyft. Hope I'll get a credit for $10 the extra I paid to select the "closest".
