@MrDanielBuck@biblical_unity My husband teaches math and this mentality is why so many of his students struggle. They don’t have the basic math skills. They also say they are bad at math but they really don’t know if that’s true. They never memorized the foundations.
@joe_AmcApe@farmingandJesus Former Catholic here and I can attest that Catholics do indeed pray to Mary. They venerate her and worship her. The church I grew up in had a framed tapestry of Mary hanging opposite the crucifix. I am grateful God saved me from that pagan practice.
@BiblicalBeauty@ranboy@michaelaterndru Well, my husband taught in a public high school and a majority of the students that went through his 6 class periods could not read at grade level and did not know basic math facts. So, technology hasn’t helped them at all. They could probably make a TikTok though. 🥴
@sometherapist I have seen this in the behavior of people on antidepressants. I don’t like them, I would never recommend them and I have offered support to people on them, to get off them. By support, I mean I was available as a friend to listen, encourage and assist them.
@BiblicalBeauty@thebereanmillen I don’t understand how the narrative about who he was before this happened can be proclaimed (VA nurse). But who he is in this video cannot be weighed equally. They can both be a picture of what kind of person he was.
@teachthemx3@biblical_unity This is problem because it shows that no one cares if the student has an education that will serve them well in life. They are sent out into the world without the basic knowledge to be successful.
@WWUTTcom 1. I was raised in the Catholic Church.
2. I asked too many pointed ?s in my catechism class.
3. I began to doubt because I was told to be quiet.
4. I met a girl named Shawn in college and she invited me to Bible study.
5. God saved me.
