Caranthir strolled out of Thargelion, wincing at the sun a bit. His attention turned to birdsong as he tried to get his mind off of reeking dwarves. Most days he could handle them, but in times like this, his mind looked west.

Caranthir rested his back against a moss covered boulder along the mountain side. The slight breeze on this autumn evening smelled fresh and clean. - #arda

@ignis_john Caranthir made his way through the woods, examining the wild life, the trees, plants and fungi. Then he noticed the house in the woods. He never noticed it before. Would could be in it? A spy? Doubtful. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

@ignis_john Caranthir patted the nose of his steed and rested at the bottom of the mountain side. His eyes gazed west toward the horizon. The grass field was wide and a few small trees dotted the landscape. On the horizon laid that familiar forest. -

He took out a wood pipe with a long stem and with a few puffs it was lit.

The sounds of a lite wind carrying the hum of insects filled the air. Then the noise stopped. Someone was about.
