THREAD: We looked at the top 7 words in the "About Me" section at top 10 financial institutions (JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, etc). We wanted to see how these companies speak about themselves and their brand for their audiences.
Two words that the companies stayed away from was "wealthy" and "rich". Those words are awkward nowadays, with the emergence of social justice and awareness of the wealth gap in this country. People in this class increasingly prefer words like "comfortable" or "fortunate".
