Floating eelgrass!
We took out some grass from the original tank and planted in the tank next to it. Planning on harvesting the eelgrass for grains.

Our tank is overflowing with eelgrass!!! We recently added little guppies. They seem to love their new home! Looks like the grass is doing it’s job, keeping the water carbon-free!

Promising results for eelgrass restoration using sand-capping!
This summer, 80,000 eelgrass shoots were planted on 1 ha of seafloor, which had been sand-capped to reduce sediment resuspension. Since then the number of shoots have doubled🌱🇸🇪

Our experiment: Last week, we turned off all co2 indicators and let the grass absorb it during our break. Today, we saw that our experiment was a success! The drop checker turned more blue, proving the grass did store carbon. #eelgrass #carbonfilter #tank #cimatechange
