It was great to show 2026 Composites Australia Conference delegates through our Waurn Ponds facility, and provide a firsthand look at recent innovations to further automate our production process.
Delegates were shown through the Mega-line and provided with a detailed overview of Carbon Revolution’s R&D testing equipment, as well as the in-process measurements and inspections which ensure our lightweight composite wheels can be made to OEM standards.

Dr Ashley Denmead, Steve Agius, Tim Corbett and Tim de Souza accepted the Award on behalf of Carbon Revolution's wider engineering team. The award recognises the expertise behind our world-leading automated production process for carbon fibre automotive wheels, and the engineering efforts to get our lightweight wheels validated against rigorous OEM standards.
We’re pleased to share that Carbon Revolution has emerged from voluntary administration as a newly private company. With overwhelming creditor support and the backing of our partner OIC, we now have a stronger foundation on which to build.

Carbon fiber is an anisotropic material. The strength and stiffness of the composite material can be tailored by altering the direction of the reinforcing carbon fibers.

Demoulding. We inject resin at 50x atmospheric pressure to mould our carbon fibre wheels. High pressure resin transfer moulding reduces cycle times, while maintaining outstanding quality for our OEM customers.

Wheels are subject to extreme forces. Reducing wheel weight must be done with advanced engineering knowledge and the best quality materials to ensure durability and saftey.
Our carbon fibre wheels meet the same durability standards as OEM aluminium wheels, but they're up to 40-50% lighter.
In addition to rigorous validation in the R&D stage, every Carbon Revolution wheel is subject to over 160 in-process measurements and inspections before it leaves the factory.
