Catalyst results are in and unfortunately our proposal was not funded.
However, even with the odds against us, we received amazing, overwhelming support from the community, who voted for us with almost 250 MILLION ADA. This is HUGE. This is by far the most support any of our proposals have ever received.
I can't thank this community enough for all of your support. And even though we did not secure finding this time, WE WILL NOT STOP. We will still build what we set out to build because the world needs this solution.
Once again, thank you my friends. Your support is what keeps us going.
Thank you #Catalyst and the #Cardano community for the ongoing funding of PoolTool. I'm so happy to be a small part of the ongoing decentralization of $ada.
If anyone is still looking for a Drep we just crossed over 10Million ADA in delegations. Thank you!

In the morning, arriving at the office and seeing faces no longer as enthusiastic as they were in the past days. I want to fight until the very last day for my team, people who, over the past several weeks, have worked tirelessly to present and prove their capability to ensure the implementation of proposals before the community. Below is concrete evidence of that effort as we engage with Hydra technology, a technology that is still new, not fully ready, complex, and riddled with bugs. Nevertheless, we have demonstrated the feasibility of our proposed ideas (here is the Demo of ADA transfers in Hydra Head Party 4).
I call on the developers who are building Hydra, as well as those who wish to expand its range of applications, to evaluate and vote in support of us. At the moment, we have not been chosen by @Cardano_CF, and we will certainly be eliminated without the community’s backing.
@krissbaird I know you are a manager at Catalyst and that you already have my personal information as well as that of my company. If you are concerned about the risk of our project’s execution, please vote for us and grant us an outsourcing contract. I commit to returning the entire granted fund if we fail to deliver successfully.
@IOHK_Charles@therealdisasm@adamKDean@InputOutputHK, I do not wish to bother you, but I hope for your attention and support for a promising team that wants to contribute and truly build our career with Cardano. The keyword to vote is🔎[Vtechcom]

🔥🆘Cardano Community - We need your commenting support! ⚠️⚠️⚠️
Trezor refuses to merge the finished CIP8 message signing feature PR now for months. There reason is "we don't see demand from the users for that", which is BS.
Please help to get this thru by doing 1, 2 or all three things below:
1) I have created a Forum post here: https://t.co/JgHd04ryku
Please comment that we need this ASAP for Cardano!
2) Also if you have a github account, please comment here that we need this ASAP: https://t.co/pkDDS7QtkN
3) Open up a Support-Ticket for this topic please! They need a certain number of tickets to move forward - its just stupid. https://t.co/iU1hkEsQWW
Thank you very much for sharing this post and for commenting on the links above. We need to push Trezor to merge this into master!
Best regards, Martin
P.S:: This integration was funded via Catalyst, until Trezor merges this PR (ready for months), the Catalyst Proposal cannot be closed out 😥
Excited to share our Catalyst Fund 13 proposal:

Why Conducting the Groth16 Ceremony on Cardano is Essential for Integrating with Bitcoin 🤓
In the rapidly evolving landscape of blockchain technology, interoperability stands out as a key feature that can transform networks and elevate them beyond isolated ecosystems. Among the most crucial innovations in privacy and scalability is the use of zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), which offer a way to validate transactions or computations without revealing the underlying information. Cardano, as one of the most rigorously designed blockchains, has the unique opportunity to embrace and advance this technology for its own ecosystem and potentially bridge itself with Bitcoin and other protocols.
The Groth16 zero-knowledge proof system is a powerful cryptographic tool that facilitates these proofs. But why is it so critical to conduct a Groth16 "ceremony" on Cardano, and what makes this development an essential milestone for Cardano's integration with Bitcoin and beyond?
When we made our proposal at @Catalyst_onX fund 13, the agreement between @emurgo_io and @BTC_OS , which allows integration with Bitcoin, had not been announced. We believe that this makes it very necessary to obtain support to get our Catalyst proposal approved.
Understanding the Groth16 Ceremony and its Importance
The Groth16 proof system, introduced in 2016, has become a cornerstone for zero-knowledge proof systems because of its efficiency and scalability. Unlike other ZKPs, Groth16 produces constant-size proofs that can be quickly verified, making it ideal for blockchains with high-performance requirements. However, implementing Groth16 on a blockchain requires an initial "trusted setup" ceremony. This ceremony generates the cryptographic parameters essential to make Groth16 work securely and efficiently within a given ecosystem.
Without this ceremony, deploying Groth16 securely on a blockchain is nearly impossible. By conducting it on Cardano, we not only set the foundation for using Groth16-based ZKPs but also prepare the network for advanced applications that require high-performance zero-knowledge proofs.
Why Groth16 is the Key to Cardano-Bitcoin Integration
Bitcoin, while decentralized and secure, lacks native support for ZKPs. Recent projects like BitcoinOS are beginning to address this by creating rollup layers and other methods of scaling on Bitcoin with zero-knowledge proofs. However, to truly bridge Cardano with Bitcoin, Cardano must also support these advanced cryptographic systems.
Groth16 allows Cardano to "speak the same language" as @BTC_OS and other rollup systems that use ZKPs.
With Groth16, Cardano can:
✔️ Verify Zero-Knowledge Proofs Across Chains: By supporting Groth16, Cardano can verify proofs generated on other networks that also utilize this standard, such as Bitcoin rollups or other ZKPs using the same cryptographic primitives. This paves the way for interoperability where transactions or data from Bitcoin can be verified on Cardano without exposing sensitive information.
✔️ Enable Cross-Chain Rollups: Rollups are an emerging solution for scaling blockchains by moving computations off-chain and batching transactions on-chain. By adopting Groth16, Cardano can participate in rollup solutions that involve Bitcoin, effectively enabling trustless and scalable cross-chain interactions. This is essential for decentralized finance (DeFi) and other dApp ecosystems that benefit from liquidity and user bases across multiple blockchains.
✔️Enhance Privacy and Confidentiality: ZKPs enable private transactions where sensitive information is concealed. Groth16 allows Cardano to verify proofs of validity without exposing transaction data, a feature increasingly valuable in cross-chain applications. Imagine a future where Cardano and Bitcoin users can transact or share information privately without third-party intervention—Groth16 makes this feasible.
The Role of Modulo P and Encoins
Cardano-based projects like @Modp_ and Encoins are spearheading efforts to bring ZKP capabilities to the ecosystem. Modulo P is focused on developing the necessary cryptographic infrastructure to enable zero-knowledge proofs on Cardano. Encoins, on the other hand, is exploring practical implementations of ZKPs for Privacy on Cardano, leveraging these proofs to ensure privacy and security in transactions.
Modulo P was a pioneer in introducing Groth 16 to Cardano. Together, Modulo P and Encoins are laying the groundwork for a Cardano that can integrate seamlessly with Bitcoin and potentially other protocols in the future. By participating in and facilitating the Groth16 ceremony, these projects help Cardano evolve into a blockchain capable of interoperating with the broader crypto ecosystem, especially privacy-oriented networks and applications.
Looking Ahead: Groth16 and Cardano’s Strategic Position
The Groth16 ceremony isn’t just about adding another cryptographic tool to Cardano; it’s about positioning Cardano at the forefront of cross-chain interoperability and privacy-preserving technology. As blockchain technology matures, networks that can communicate securely and privately will have a significant advantage. Bitcoin is a giant in the crypto space, but its current lack of privacy and scalability solutions limits its usability in modern DeFi ecosystems. Cardano, by supporting Groth16 and engaging in projects like Modulo P and Encoins, can help close this gap.
Conducting the Groth16 ceremony on Cardano is a necessary step toward realizing a truly interconnected blockchain world. As Cardano moves forward with the support of Modulo P, Encoins, and other pioneering projects, it stands ready to offer scalable privacy, cross-chain verification, and interoperability with protocols like Bitcoin. This is not just an upgrade; it’s a paradigm shift that will open doors to new collaborations, innovations, and applications across the crypto ecosystem.
By enabling Groth16, Cardano is creating bridges to the future of blockchain—a future where privacy, scalability, and interoperability are not isolated concepts but interconnected pillars of a decentralized world.
