In a one possession game with a state title game birth on the line, Darnell McLeod throws down a MONSTER poster for Massillon Perry!
The game is now 60-60 with 1:43 to play in regulation.
Was looking at box scores the other night from the first ever Ohio State Basketball tournament back in 1923. I saw that Stryker HS made it (the school my wife is from), coached by Ralph Geesey.
Scrolled down a little bit more and saw West Unity also made it--a town about 7 miles from Stryker--and they were also coached by Ralph Geesey!
Huh??? A guy coached 2 different teams in the same year and took them both to the first ever State Tournament? Did some more digging and found this awesome article about it. Check out this great story!

This is a pretty wild statement from the OHSAA, considering:
1) There's been 8,134 varsity boys basketball games played so far this year by Ohio schools...nowhere near 30,000. Even if they were including girls basketball in that estimate, it's still just over half of 30,000.
2) They're admitting there's at most 300 errors. And if ONE team has an error, it can affect the RPI of tens to HUNDREDS of other teams, not just that team.
