On this the day of national reflection, Ryedale Carers Support as part of #teamnorthyorkshire, is remembering those we have lost, thinking of those who are still recovering and sending a huge thank you and a round of applause to all our volunteers who have brightened our days.
"It’s important to stay in touch with friends and loved ones, and volunteer to help when and where you can. Take time out to connect with friends and family over social media and talk about your concerns and how you’re feeling."

Did you know that dementia is caused when the brain is damaged by diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease or a series of strokes. The specific symptoms that someone with dementia experiences will depend on the parts of the brain that are damaged and the type of disease.
Please be considerate of people who may not understand social distancing and new ways of shopping. They might be living with dementia or another hidden condition.
Let's continue to support each other, especially those who need a little extra help. 💙
