Manchester United had £73.2m in cash reserves as of the Q3 financials, with £90m left on the £300m revolving credit facility - which they have to stop using, because any person knows what a bad idea it is to use your credit card when you cannot afford it.

Outgoings are slow, they were always going to be. The club hasn't helped itself ostracising players they want to sell, but trying to move huge wages, which other clubs cannot afford, isn't easy. It was always going to take time to fix transfer errors of the past.

If you cannot understand why the Mbeumo deal is taking time - to preserve cash flexibility, pay less up front & get a structure that will be accepted, connect the dots. Other clubs are not in this situation, it is totally unique for a club of this size.

Everyone knew this was going to take time to fix, but don't want to swallow the medicine when it's time to. Stop letting outrage baiters who prey on your anger to make you more frustrated. If you keep living this day to day, you're going to drive yourself crazy.

The summer started with a rush, now it's a crawl. It's tough & we're all feeling impatient, but this is what it is.
