@AutodeskHelp Okay, thank you. I posted a reply onto a forum thread (Re: Animation tab. opacity/transparancy problem. ), Apparently someone else had the same problem, and it was 'confirmed' as a 'bug'. However, there's no known fix for it. In terms of my work, this is a crushing show-stopper.

@AutodeskHelp For four days, Fusion 360 has been screwing up my animations by failing to maintain the opacity of bodies. In the model-mode, things are fine. But the opacity of bodies comes and goes when I'm setting up an animation. Nothing on the forums addresses this problem.

@AutodeskHelp When you say "your forum post", I have to say, I don't have one, as far as I know. All I did was to tweet in to the Autodesk help desk with a problem. But I'd be happy to get the advice of a product expert. Where and how would I start a forum post?

@AutodeskHelp I did share a public link: https://t.co/jiSvs4nt2B The opacity problem doesn't appear in the model mode. But in the animation mode (storyboard 3), you'll likely find bodies that are mostly transparent. Some of my fixes seemed to work - but not for long. I'd be grateful for help.

@AutodeskHelp I'm sorry, but your attempt did not solve the problem. What may have misled you, is that one can make a change and the animation will look right. But then the problem comes right back. That's what happened when I tried running the animation after you. It went bad in a minute.

@AutodeskHelp This is the second occasion where I've run into a problem with my Fusion 360 animations. Parts that are shaded (with visible edges), suddenly become less opaque, and I can see parts behind them. If I publish, the problem carries over. Is there a solution to this?

@AutodeskHelp Attached is a shaded (with visible edges) rotary table with bottles on it. If you pull it up, you can easy see thru several, but not all, of the bodies. When I used Appearances to put colors on bodies, it would fix the problem, but only for a spell. Then the issue came back.

@AutodeskHelp Actually, I've solved the problem, though I'm not sure why the change solved anything. I merely switched to publish to a different folder in my documents, and then everything worked fine. I can't explain why it worked.

@AutodeskHelp In Fusion 360, I'm having problem publishing an animation to my computer. I keep getting error messages (red font) saying "A file name may not contain any of the following characters: V."*"<>]" I've published animations many times before with no problems.

@AutodeskHelp Yes, I'd greatly perfer, as you say, to be made a support case with the Fusion team. I don't wish to sound paranoid, but the rights to my design are shared with a partner, and I'm not at liberty to expose them publicly. So... how do I become a support case?

@AutodeskHelp I checked the status of the Intel graphics driver, but it was already up to date. The Fusion assembly this mornnig is still crashing upon opening and attempting to update the obsolete part, CER_161192953, any other suggestions? I'm in a bad spot.
