Got back to Gone Girl. Man, what a wild book. It's your typical true crime meets "crazy bitch" story but also the "wrong man" is also an unlikeable, deserving, dick. There is a point where it doubles down on Amy being evil and allows reader to be Nick sympathetic. Don't love that
I haven't read a ton of Philip K Dick, but when I do, I'm always stricken at what a captivating writer he is, even when he's going full weird. I need to figure out that hook, that "I need to read more to see what this is building towards" skill.
