We're not only able to laugh at ourselves but we're also allowed to (individually and as a community) truly embrace the concept.

The left (and I include RINOs in that category) is obviously all but incapable of doing so...and related news they're a bunch of miserable/resentful people, as they put on parade daily for all to see.

It's sad really.

What the left fails to understand is that self-deprecating self/group humor is a GOOD thing. You should be able to laugh at yourself. And as it turns out, an especially powerful resource when things get difficult.

A good measure of character & humility in a public figure is the time they're willing to spend to help those "without status." I've encountered some who only associate as long as it benefits their brand or project.

Tucker Carlson is one of the kindest public people who helped me over the years unconditionally. I've seen him do this for others as well. I'll miss watching him on Fox News, but I'm excited about whatever he'll do next.
