WATCH:
“But, in 2024, Mr. Leader of the Opposition spent $8.8 MILLION dollars in the Leader of the Opposition’s office. Doesn’t have to make one single decision, Mr. Speaker. While the Liberal leader spent $4.1 million dollars.” - @StevenMacKinnon
🔥OUCH!🔥@PierrePoilievre
Fred DeLorey: It's problematic when you choose to go down that road that Poilievre has chosen to go down so aggressively, almost like he's rooting for a recession. I'm a tribal conservative. I want to win the next election ... screaming that the sky is falling every week is not how you do it.
🚨WATCH: “He’s been in this house for 22 years. He’s never had a job outside of this house, and he spent $8.8 million dollars? - #LPC MP Wayne Long
🔥🔥🔥
Is @PierrePoilievre the most costly politician in Canadian history?

Families living next to data centers are facing nonstop noise, pollution, and higher utility bills.
Over the last five years, electricity costs are up as much as 267% for families near these data centers.
Enough is enough.
Two economists just published a mathematical proof that AI will destroy the economy.
Not might. Not could. Will — if nothing changes.
The paper is called "The AI Layoff Trap." Published March 2, 2026. Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Boston University. Peer reviewed. Mathematically modeled.
The conclusion is one sentence.
"At the limit, firms automate their way to boundless productivity and zero demand."
An economy that produces everything. And sells it to nobody.
Here is how you get there.
A company fires 500 workers and replaces them with AI. A competitor fires 700 to keep up. Another fires 1,000. Every company is behaving rationally. Every company is following the incentives correctly. And every company is building a trap for itself.
Because the workers who were fired were also customers.
When they lose their jobs faster than the economy can absorb them, they stop spending. Consumer demand falls. Companies respond by cutting costs — which means automating more workers — which means less spending — which means more falling demand — which means more automation.
The loop has no natural exit.
The researchers tested every proposed solution. Universal basic income. Capital income taxes. Worker equity participation. Upskilling programs. Corporate coordination agreements.
Every single one failed in the model.
The only intervention that worked: a Pigouvian automation tax — a per-task levy charged every time a company replaces a human with AI, forcing them to price in the demand they are destroying before they pull the trigger.
No government has implemented this. No major economy is seriously discussing it.
Meanwhile the numbers are already tracking the curve. 100,000 tech workers laid off in 2025. 92,000 more in the first months of 2026. Jack Dorsey fired half of Block's workforce and said publicly: "Within the next year, the majority of companies will reach the same conclusion."
Nobody is doing anything wrong. Companies are following their incentives perfectly. That is exactly the problem.
Rational behavior. At scale. Simultaneously. With no mechanism to stop it.
Two economists built the math. The math leads to one place.

The Lone Star Tick is spreading and is allegedly turning people allergic to red meat. Alpha-Gal Syndrome (AGS) is a serious, delayed allergy triggered by lone star tick bites. One bite can make you react to beef, pork, lamb, even dairy. Reactions hit 2–6 hours later. Thousands of confirmed cases. Be sure to protect yourself!#AlphaGal #LoneStarTick
Terrifying reality check. Senator Bernie Sanders confirms tech oligarchs like Bezos and Zuckerberg are secretly investing hundreds of billions into AI and robotics for one sinister reason. He reveals their ultimate goal is to permanently replace and eliminate human labor.
Erin Brockovich's latest project is a website to report and track data center construction across the country:
"The race to build AI infrastructures is unfolding town by town across America... This map captures the real-world footprint of that race — revealing patterns of growth, conflict and uncertainty."
Massive bombshell. Anthropic co-founder Chris Olah warns that AI will displace human labor on a catastrophic global scale. He confirms tech elites have absolutely no mechanism to share the wealth, leaving the global poor completely abandoned to suffer. He is 100% accurate.
Senator Bernie Sanders issues a warning. He confirms tech billionaires are using AI to eliminate tens of millions of working class jobs. He exposes how the establishment uses fake political outrage to distract the public.
Fife is right. Why would a sane Premier scream & beg for federal approval of O&G pipeline projects & then set a separation referendum that destabilizes all opportunities for potential private investment in those pipelines? This benefits only Trump's USA and risks all of Canada.
This is now an international incident with US/companies and servers having accessed the private data of 3 m Canadians.
Some people are going to jail. For a very long time.
