In 17 days, Cody Harper will stand before a judge, and his life could change forever.
I believe this case is incredibly unfair. If he is sent to prison, the entire justice system will come under public scrutiny like never before.
He was attacked by three men. In my view, while clearly disorientated, he struck out at a police officer.
The police then asked the public not to share these videos. But Cody's story need to be told.
To me, Cody Harper was the victim, not the criminal.
The country will be watching on 23rd July.
What many people are missing here is that an arrest for assaulting a police officer could potentially change this young man's life forever if it ends in a prison sentence.
In my opinion, the police have made a serious mistake. The right thing to do now is admit it, and drop the charges.
The public expects justice to be based on the facts, not on doubling down when errors are made.
The cover up is worse than the crime now.
This video proves the police were told the victim was assaulted, and the female officer was told by a third party that she attacked him so quickly he thought she was an assailant.
She nods her head while being told he was assaulted first.
The entire department should be sacked. They intentionally lied about the situation to cover their incompetence.
I’m a former police officer… we’re seeing a pattern… an apparent presumption that in any inter-racial altercation, if there’s a white lad involved, he’s the guilty party.
This was not good policing… the lack of situational analysis, the apparent assumption the white lad was in the wrong, and the inappropriate use of force - the female police officer who body slammed the young lad against the shutters - were all unprofessional.
The language “walk to the fucking car you dick” was also highly unprofessional.
We have to restore British policing. Only one party has a credible plan for doing so @RestoreBritain

@reformtheUKnow@RestoreBritain@grok what is the average IQ of a UK police officier? Low enough that they dont know which way round someone sits in the back of a car?
The police officer should be suspended and investigated- She clearly targeted the victim- she never made it clear she was the police - he was dazed after being attacked and though it was self defence. Once he realised she was a police officer he complied. She was aggressive.
@BrumPolice You watched a man get thrown to the ground by another as he was backing away, and your officer arrested the man who was thrown to the ground, while the man who threw him walked away.
You're showing everyone why Citizen Vigilante is necessary.
