Cleanliness isn't a luxury; it's a human right.

By forcing the next generation to inherit this toxic environment, we aren't just failing them environmentally, we are actively capping their potential and guaranteeing cognitive setbacks before they even reach adulthood.

The cycle of excuses is officially bankrupt. The decay has to stop.

In those same 3 months, Gauteng Department of Education spent R431 million. For deep cleaning schools for Covid.

R431 million. In 90 days.

But Health never said schools must be deep cleaned like that. Basic Education never recommended it. It was not needed at all. It was unnecessary.

So what were they cleaning?

Hundreds of companies got paid. Many never cleaned anything before. No experience. Some were builders. Some were caterers. Some just opened a company yesterday. All got paid fast.

6 years later, no one has accounted for that money. No one arrested. No money back. No one fired.

R431 million gone.

That is R4.7 million every day. For spraying classrooms that were empty.

Your child's school still has no books. Still has broken toilets. 60 kids in one class. But they had R431 million to spray Jik.

Why pay companies that did no work? Why pay people who don't know cleaning?

Is it possible this money was stolen to fund elections? Think about it. Where does ANC get money for t-shirts and food parcels every election?

They stole during Covid. When people were dying. If they can steal then, they can steal anytime.

❤️🚨🚨AfriForum is threatening to take some municipalities to court over charges being placed on people who use solar power.

One of the main municipalities is Emfuleni in Gauteng. It has proposed a R2,400 once-off registration fee and a R463 monthly charge for people with solar systems. AfriForum says it wants the municipality to explain exactly what law allows it to charge this money.

AfriForum is also looking at Thaba Chweu Municipality, where it says residents with solar systems are already being charged R582.64 every month, even when their homes are no longer connected to the municipal electricity network.

AfriForum's argument is basically that municipalities cannot just create new charges because they need more money. It says they must follow the law, explain what the money is for, do the required studies and give residents a proper chance to comment before introducing such charges.

AfriForum is saying, “You cannot simply charge people for having solar panels. Show us the law that gives you the right to do this and prove that you followed the correct process.” If the municipalities cannot justify the charges, AfriForum could take the matter to court.
