We have received more than 2,000 phone calls to our COVID-19 phone line for older people and they keep coming in! We're offering advice and reassurance, delivering groceries and essentials, and making daily phone calls to older people who want one, from 8am-8pm. #YouAreNotAlone
Focus Ireland is calling on the Government today to put in place a moratorium on evictions as part of its reaction to the threat of #Covid_19 to help prevent more people from becoming homeless at this time.
We all need to play our part in stopping the spread of the virus. The new advice asks that we increase interpersonal distance when in crowded settings and practice personal protective measures like avoid touching your face.

Nora from Cork has a super idea: mobile phone providers in Ireland should send daily health advice messages to all customers to remind them to wash their hands, keep a distance of 2 metres or 6.5 feet apart from other people, no need to stock pile as shops will remain open, etc.

The government has announced additional measures to protect citizens by delaying the spread of COVID-19.
