CDC just published its 2025 vaccine schedules. We have now gone from 7 routine vaccine injections in 1986 to over 200 routine vaccine injections in 2025.

In 1986, before vaccine makers had broad immunity to liability for injuries, CDC's schedule had 7 routine childhood injections and none for adults or pregnant women.

CDC's 2025 schedule has 5 routine injections during pregnancy, over 70 routine childhood injections (birth to age 18), and over 130 routine adult injections (up to age 79). Counting non-routine injections, there are even more.

While China iterates at lightning speed and open-sources its frontier models, the U.S. risks self-sabotage with bureaucracy.

With the #EU AI Act’s enforcement kicking in this August and its own heavy regulatory framework, Europe risks falling even further behind — squeezed between a potentially self-hobbled US and a surging China.

If America slows its own lead, China pulls decisively ahead, leaving Europe as a rule-taker and dependent consumer of foreign AI rather than a competitive player.

Europe’s tech sovereignty push (data centers, chips, faster permitting) is a start — but it needs REAL SPEED and lighter-touch rules to matter.
Otherwise, both the US and Europe watch the AI future slip to China.

My two cents on politics, and this is all I will say about it:

Our government increasingly reflects the lowest-IQ voters, and the libertarian movement is dying because of it. That's a real loss for conservatives. Libertarians were the force consistently pulling us toward smaller, minimalist government. Now the Overton window has shifted dramatically in the wrong direction.

Massie has always pushed for full repeal and real free-market reforms—not the half-measures and tweaks that kept the Obamacare structure intact. He voted against the 2017 bill because it fell far short of what was promised and would have locked in big insurance/hospital profits. Trump ran on repealing it multiple times. Now in 2026, the GOP has the House, Senate, and White House… and still zero serious effort. Pointing that out isn’t “TDS.” It’s demanding that the party in power finally deliver instead of making excuses. Voters deserve better than theater. Congress writes the laws. Leadership owns the failure.

The comments on this thread are strange. Do people not realize that Trump has enormous power over his base to sideline or primary anyone who steps out of line? He may not write legislation, but he makes sure those who don’t fall in line get replaced. Attacking Rep. Massie — one of the few who actually calls out the party’s failures — doesn’t help anyone. The voters are the real problem. They keep re-electing big-government neocons and statists who have no interest in shrinking the state or repealing Obamacare.
