Just heard the news on #ClaudeLemieux
This is extremely sad no matter what feelings from past or present you hold. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends and people who got to see the person off the ice wasn’t the person on. As I’ve said and will always call it as I see it
“If your on the ICE with Claude Lemieux and your turn your back. YOU Are an IDIOT.
But off the ICE I’ll turn mine”
And please. If you are struggling at all please reach out and talk to someone
Godspeed my friend
Excited to be in Toronto tonight to be with @Bonsie1951 for his final home game.
I took a trip down memory lane and put together some of my favourite calls from my dad over the years.
Love ya dad, you’re a legend!
Probably the proudest day ever today to see what the team @wearehappydoggo have been working on and rolling out in stages. Apologies for the voice but I had to get out of my sick bed to come and see this…
🐕 The start of our government partnerships sterilizing dogs at scale. All around Samui for the next 3 weeks and the moving to rural Thailand.
️ I can explain the amount of planning that goes into this for training staff, licenses, permits and general logistics and safety planning etc.
🇹🇭 What I especially love is that apart from me it was 100% Thai staff and Thai community there today. This is how we will fix the problem. Locals bringing their dogs in.
🎯 The dog catching and darting team are my heroes. Getting those dogs in is exceptionally hard.
💵 There is absolutely no cost for the community. Many of these people are low income community who just can’t afford the care. Having their dogs sterilized is a game changer. For those who support us this is what we can do. 100s of puppies stopped today.
People who follow us @wearehappydoggo love the rescues and the retirement village and the food and the makeovers where dogs have comebacks. But this today is why we really do it. These mobile units will go on to save 1000s of lives this year working on a daily basis in rural Thailand. I’ll make sure even if we start on a local basis like this soon you’ll see this all over Thailand and the world. The dogs need this ❤️
3 weeks ago when I picked her up she was utterly broken. Today Biscotti was getting her golden ticket to retire with us. According to the kind local who alerted us…
🛻 She had been hit by a truck recently. Locals had also been chasing her and possibly hitting her. She was hiding under a shack with no fur and her nose was rotting away with a bacterial infection. That’s how her story was going to end.
🏡 She now has a golden ticket to stay with us for the rest of her life. Her health is improving very fast with daily vet care.
🐕 She has made some wonderful gentle friends. She really likes the company of gentle dogs and humans.
🩷 I gave her one of Tina’s old bandana to welcome her in officially.
Biscotti literally cannot stop smiling. Love, care and security have given her a new chance at life. What a lovely dog she is.
I can't even begin to tell you how deeply moving it is to watch you save these dogs, day after day, with such unwavering compassion. You deserve every accolade for your tireless, life-saving work on behalf of the forgotten souls on the streets. I keep sharing this "Person of the Year" TIME magazine cover as a constant reminder to everyone of the incredible good you've done- and the personal hardships you've overcome to keep showing up for them. THANK YOU for being the hero these dogs need. You're changing lives, one rescue at a time. ❤️🐾🐕
In the first few days I just saw with her and watched her sleep for 23.5 hours a day.
Look at her today. My heart could explode with happiness for her ❤️
What a fantastic night with @ShoresyHockey - @RossyOnTheMic - player intros for the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs were amazing...I wasn't sure how far you were going to go with Ted Hitchcock....especially when you say it fast....
The Blue Jays have taken over Canada this postseason.
Some fans watched last night on the side of a grain elevator in Canwood, Saskatchewan.
Tonight for all the marbles. A country watches.
