Going back with new inspiration on how to create synergies between local & global youth panels in 🇩🇰🇰🇪. Thanks @DKambKenya + team and not least to my friend and inspiration @rachaelmwiks. Looking forward to our next meeting with @DanJoergensen

[Stephan Schønemann 🇩🇰 @DKambKenya]

Great to host 2 members of our Min for dev & global Climate policy @DanJoergensen’s Global #Youth Advisory Board - Caroline from 🇩🇰 & our good friend Rachael from 🇰🇪. Interesting to hear their perspectives on youth engagement & feel their passion to make youth voices heard 📣

[Caroline Louise Ottesen @Caroline8sen]

@DKambKenya @DanJoergensen @rachaelmwiks @DanishMFA Great to meet you Ole and experience the true youth engagement that you are facilitating, listening to and learning from here in Kenya! Going back to 🇩🇰 with new inspiration🙏🏽

[Stephan Schønemann 🇩🇰 @DKambKenya]

Happy to see @Rachaelmwiks adding the voice of #Kenya 🇰🇪 to my new minister as member of his Global Youth Sounding Board 🇩🇰💪🏾📣 @DanJoergensen @DanishMFA

[Rachael Mwikali @rachaelmwiks]

[sara kruger falk @FalkKruger]

[Sandi Rizvic @SandiRizvic]

Thank you @DanJoergensen for listening to me and the rest of your youth panel for our first meeting! You can show Denmark as a global front runner on youth engagement in policy, and by working together across generations we can change the world🌍 See you for our next meeting 💪🏼

[Caroline Louise Ottesen @Caroline8sen]

@DanJoergensen open to amplify youth voices & perspectives all over the 🌎 You were also young once, you said - but 🌎 has changed a bit since then😉 We will remember you to think out the box in your efforts to #LNOB. Intersectionality & courage is 🔑 Let’s make the world fairer!

[Oli Henman @OliHenman]

A year ago we marched in Glasgow and we shared #FacesFromTheFrontlines of those activists who could not join key climate meetings, so today I am overwhelmed to see @AngelaFloresta in person at #COP27 - change is happening around the world!

[Globalt Fokus @globaltfokus]

Thank you for the good discussion, Fleming and rest of youth panel. 🇩🇰needs to amplify youth voices from the global south, especially female and gender minority voices, in the global higher political fora like the upcoming #COP27 Let us make DK a first mover on youth involvement

[Caroline Louise Ottesen @Caroline8sen]

Ses igen under COP27

@danskungdom #ungpol

#Humanrights defenders on the frontlines risk their lives daily fighting for our rights, equality, and justice.

Their voices must be at the 🎯of decision-making every day. 🌍leaders and @UN must #UNmutecivilsociety and ensure #NothingAboutUsWithoutUs #LNOB #SDG. #HumanRightsDay

[Caroline Louise Ottesen @Caroline8sen]

Excited to have attended #COP26 voicing excluded #facesfromthefrontlines to ensure that we #LeaveNoOneBehind. NOT so excited about current lack of commitment to loss and damage finance. If this COP is to deliver, the only path is real zero and real commitment.

[Caroline Thorsen @Caroline_ThorsN]

Climate Justice means placing those affected directly by the #ClimateCrisis in the centre of decisions. At #COP26, 1⃣0⃣0⃣0⃣s of these 🗣️ have been excluded, so today, in solidarity w/ #FacesFromTheFrontlines, we carry them with us to #UNmuteCOP26 & fight for them to be heard!

[Sigrid Bjerre Andersen @sigridbjerre]

Today @globaltfokus and @Action4SD invited 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇯🇲&🇩🇰into a fancy meeting room to discuss how to bring more civil society voices to the #COP26 and beyond. Thanks @MairiMcAllan @AnaiteeMills @KlimaMin for👂and @opegoogle @Watto_A and others for 🗣
#UNmuteCOP26 #FacesFromTheFrontlines

[Globalt Fokus @globaltfokus]

Carrying out a physical @COP26 during a 🌍pandemic excludes many #FacesFromTheFrontlines #civilsociety & those most affected by #ClimateCrisis.
Their🗣️must be heard. They demand #climateaction for #ClimateJusticeNow.
📢to @UN: #UNmuteCOP26 & meaningfully include civil society.

[Caroline Thorsen @Caroline_ThorsN]

To ensure that #climateaction is just, those most affected by the #climatecrisis must be in the centre of decisions. 🌍-leaders must #UNMuteCOP26 at @COP26
