Congratulations to Sheikha Hissa and @WilliamHaggas whose patience paid off in the most thrilling way as ALMERAQ and @TomMarquand win the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes. Bred for speed but lightly raced following his horror fall at York last year, this 4 year old’s confidence has returned. I just want to say a personal congratulations to Ryan Moore MBE. His contribution to racing is simply outstanding - his dedication and hard work sets a very high benchmark for all jockeys to aspire to. To have now won all the Group 1 races in England, Ireland and France following today’s victory in the Prix de Diane Longines says it all. Smiles, interviews and media - that’s not what he’s about. It’s for the horse, pure and simple.
