@KristiFairchil2@MeghansMole Blue eyes red hair recessive genes yes, but this does not mean they can never ‘show’ in offspring. It just means both parents would require them. Not defending MM and H by the way but wrong information from a geneticist is a tad worrying!
@sue_pawlowski I think the one thing that people say when you lose a child or grandchild that I wish they would not is any phrase along the lines of ‘you can have another’. As if a young life is replaceable or exchangeable and your grief should somehow be lessened. Very sorry for your loss.
@MarkLennard@andy_murray Is it the language from a human being though? I did not realise that being a sports personality stripped away his humanity?
He isn't doing lines of coke for goodness sake!
I find Nigella L a much scarier role model as she simpers away in her verbose manner!
It’s 2050. Hastings wallboard of deceased undercover officers now covers all 4 walls of the office, Ryan Pilkington is Home Secretary, and we’re still no closer to finding out who H is #LineOfDuty
@ScotGovEdu@JohnSwinney Just my tuppence as a Primary teacher. Also I would be happy if the whole system was rolled back a year. Nobody is behind. It is a matter perspective. The new school intake could wait until January perhaps?
@ScotGovEdu@JohnSwinney I would suggest blended learning when schools reopen. Two groups of pupils in for two days a week each. Two days of home learning.
Group 1: Thursday Friday in hub, Monday Tuesday home learning. Wednesday no academic teaching.
@ScotGovEdu@JohnSwinney Group 2: Monday Tuesday in hub and Thursday Friday at home. This would facilitate Wednesday for teachers NCCT, tracking, additional prep, parental contact , extra support etc.
@AndyJ93519624@billtu@susannareid100 You may be infected and show absolutely no symptoms at all. You may still transmit the virus to other people who may then transmit it to other people who then..... You do see how this works don't you?
@BBCBreakfast Although I understand the benefits, my concern is equity. Not every pupil can afford a smartphone, or if they can there can be disparity in the prestige of their phone. Also if they are relied on for lessons pupils without a device could not fully access the curriculum.
