TALLY & AUDIT INTEGRATION TOOL IS MUCH NEEDED OFFICIALLY @tallysolutions
One should come up with an official Tally-integrated solution for conducting audits and generating insights and dashboards. This would help professionals access data faster on a single screen, derive meaningful insights, and make better decisions more efficiently for ledger scrutiny purposes.
I have listed 20 requirements below. You may add more in the comments.
DEBTORS & CREDITORS ANALYTICS
1. Find negative ledger balances in debtors and creditors, i.e., debtors having credit balances and creditors having debit balances.
2. Identify debtors and creditors whose opening and closing balances are exactly the same.
3. Debtors and creditors ageing analysis.
4. Identify debtors and creditors having journal voucher (JV) entries other than purchase/sale transactions, cash payments/receipts, or bank payments/receipts.
5. Debtors having hit by Purchase legder and Creditors hit by sales ledger
TAX AUDIT REPORTING
1. clause-31 -Section 269SS & 269T Dashboard – Unsecured loan reporting.
2. Section 269ST Dashboard – Cash receipts exceeding ₹2 lakh (excluding capital account transactions).
3. Clause 40 - Ratio analysis dashboard.
4. Material expenses party-wise figures dashboard covering major expenses such as:
Salary , Commission , Partner's remuneration , Partner's interest, Rent , Interest on unsecured loans, Director's salary, etc. to know materiality and relative payments for clause 23
5. Cash Exposure Ratio:
Cash Account (Credit) ÷ Total Cash & Bank Payments
Cash Account (Debit) ÷ Total Cash & Bank Receipts
To determine cash exposure for tax audit applicability. If the ratio exceeds 5%, it should be highlighted.
6. Creditors' ledgers having opening balances and cash payments exceeding ₹10,000.
7. Creditors' ledgers having cash payments exceeding ₹10,000 during the year.
8. Clause 44 - GST BREAKEUP reporting dashboard.
9.Clause 22 reporting dashboard for all creditors, whether MSME or non-MSME.
10. Clause 18- DEPRECIATION DASHBOARD Asset-wise depreciation details.- and MIMP- ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS ASSEST WISE DATE WISE IN A SINGLE SCREEN
ACCOUNTS FINALISATION DASHBOARD
1. Opening and Closing Balance Mismatch Report: Compare previous year's closing balances with the current year's opening balances. if both data seperate & split
2. Partner Dashboard – Display partner-wise opening capital, closing capital, interest, remuneration, and profit share in a single table.
3. TDS/TCS Dashboard – List all ledgers impacted by TDS/TCS payable ledgers along with corresponding amounts.
4. Grouping mismatch- Last year vs current year- if both data seperate & split
5. JV done afetr 31st March in One screen- to know year-end adjsutements made - this can help next year to finalize the data
This should come as offical tool for Auditors
