@SolverX1 @wispiicoatl to make sense and have some sort of understanding that she is a person. Like I don’t love Stella on a literal level, she kinda sucks, the sexism and the using her to baby Stolas is what bothers me but she can be a bad parent and still be treated as like a real person.

@SolverX1 @wispiicoatl I agree based on what the show says - but the show has her looking miserable, them BOTH forcing themselves into this but then only grants Stolas fatherhood and victimhood while it treats Stella as one dimensional. I don’t need her to be a good parent I need her bad parenthood

@SolverX1 @wispiicoatl there’s a way to give her an unsympathetic angle that still treats her as a real character. Like ‘she intentionally forgets her own child’s birthday because she frames it through her pain and lack of autonomy’ but it doesn’t feel like it warrants that much thought to the team.

@SolverX1 @wispiicoatl if we take her expressions and her demeanor at face value without any nuance (which so far the show refuses to give her) then bare minimum it should be the worst day of her life for making her experience the pain of birth OR the best day ever for freeing her from pregnancy.

@bornposting stuff I liked and even a few pieces of genuine hope and so when it failed it genuinely broke my heart and also RTD clearly didn’t learn shit where it counted from his successors. I also think Chibnall is a good person who tried his best and I think that less about RTD each year.
