🚨🇨🇳🇷🇺 US PANIC: ARCTIC MELT MAKES SUEZ ERA OBSOLETE
As Trump visits China amid Iran war chaos disrupting global energy, the rapidly warming Arctic is turning from “zone of peace” into the next arena of great-power rivalry — where melting ice opens new sea lanes, resources, and headaches for Washington.
🔸 ARCTIC SHIPPING BOOM INCOMING: By 2100, year-round navigation possible for all major vessels, potentially shifting more global traffic than Suez + Panama combined
🔸 Beijing’s 2018 Polar Silk Road strategy + equal say in the landmark Central Arctic Ocean Fisheries Agreement (first binding high-seas fishing ban) gives China real leverage
🔸 Washington securitizes everything — research stations, icebreakers, and seabed mapping now viewed as “threats,” while US eyes new Greenland bases and pushes A7 format excluding Russia
🔸 Paradox intensifying: Climate change opens the region physically but closes it politically as US frames China-Russia cooperation as strategic danger
Can the Arctic become a rare zone of functional US-China cooperation, or will Washington’s Russia-China obsession ruin it?
@alexmccurryo@SushiSwap Bring back Furo (Stream). It has a ton of potential, may combine it with crypto debit card - can probably work with GnosisPay... or even better if you can find issuer without KYC requirements (think there are couple of those).Neobanking is the new trend.
since this might get missed by the TL. I deployed a totally permissionless way to create prediction markets that you can trade and resolve on @ethereum. I got tired of asking for markets on interesting things on other PM platforms. And also there isn't a ETH-based one. Hence:
Mark: So, do you represent the DAO or Labs?
Jared: I represent the DAO, yes.
Mark: But the Labs equity isn't going to have any value unless you start charging fees (that directly undermine the DAO's monetization opportunities), right?
Jared: Good question. Let's just say the Labs and DAO have a ... good relationship.
Mark: The Labs and DAO have a good relationship?
Jared: They've been doing business together for a long time.
Mark: And the governance tokens that the Labs created for the DAO are of the highest quality and the highest value?
Jared: Absolutely. Absolutely.
Mark: Are you at all concerned about the declining token price?
Jared: I assume no risk for the tokens myself, Mark.
Mark: So let me get this straight. The VCs call you up, they give you an investment in Labs, they pay your salaries, they give you money to run your business, and they give you a fat stock option package in Labs for doing so. And yet, you represent the DAO. Is that right?
Jared: Yeah, but we're not in Zug.
Mark: Okay, where are you?
Jared: London. About 4h away ... or 1h if you take the private jet. That's funny, huh?
Mark: That's hilarious.
@PrimordialAA Probably -80% deweight for valueless (under $1) should have not been applied for super early tnxs. Making test transactions on a newly launched protocols is a common sense, which makes it a common practice :)
@0x_RSK@PrimordialAA At first I thought sybil hunt bounty was a good idea, but did not expect so many "wannabe" devs (with so little knowledge) to go for it... Should never underestimate human greed
