Imagine this as your POV! Today marks 80 years since VE Day🇬🇧

Eighty years since the guns fell silent and an unimaginable chapter in our history came to an end.

We owe everything to the men and women who stood tall in the face of darkness—those who fought on the frontlines, those who kept the country going at home, and those who never made it back. Their courage, resilience, and sacrifice built the foundation of the freedoms we live with today.

As someone who’s worn the uniform and felt the weight of responsibility on my shoulders, I’ll never stop honouring their legacy. They fought not for glory, but for each other. For family. For peace. For the generations to come.

Let’s never forget what they gave… and let’s live every day in a way that earns it.

We will remember them.
