@japan_nobunaga That is definitely a thing, especially in the South. Where we live now has a population of 93 people. The town my husband grew up in has about 1,500. Towns of around 1,500-3,000 are very common here.
@JonasRG@japan_nobunaga They finally got rid of the mini bottle laws but still can’t buy liquor on Sunday in most places, but they relented on beer. Hell, it’s only been within the last 20-ish years that Walmart could sell items other than groceries before 1pm on Sundays.
@japan_nobunaga I live in South Carolina. We cannot buy liquor on Sundays in the part of the state I live. They *just* started allowing beer sales on Sunday.
