After nearly 24 years of extraordinary service, we celebrate the retirement of Steve Wantz, Executive Director of the Carroll Community College Foundation. Under his leadership, assets grew from under $750K to over $36M. Thank you, Steve, for your lasting impact on our community.
Drones are a lot of fun to fly but it’s important to do so safely. This is why at Carroll, in addition to going over the FAA rules and regulations for drones, we have students fly the @NIST drone lanes to master aerial control of the drones.

#VeteransDay event today honoring our 42 students who are veterans and faculty and staff who have served. Dr. Rosalie Mince, veteran Tony Chiavacci and veteran Austrie Duarte spoke.
Veteran Tony Chiavacci spoke about the unsung heroes of military spouses and showed appreciation to his family who was in attendance. He shared the significance of service to others, neighbors, volunteering. “Service doesn’t end when uniforms are removed-it evolves.” #VeteransDay
#VeteransDay event featured the National Anthem being sung by alumna Devon Nickoles at the invitation of Austrie Duarte. Fellow students supported Devon by wearing her shirts.
