@kid_riles i was in attendance. she preformed near the green, there was the hole, water, then her stage. there were people in the rough in front of her, and people were in the grandstand and people were halfway down the fairway. this was not tens of people.
@mitchyd_CSU_12@Kraft4Prez@MLB@MLBUA@Cubs genuinely i don’t think anyone is wrong, i just think the rule is a bad rule and needs to be changed if it’s in the rule book how we all think. no where in the rule book should u be out at the advancing base on ball 4. if you’re gonna take off for another base then absolutely.
@Kraft4Prez@mitchyd_CSU_12@MLB@MLBUA@Cubs how many other times has this happened on the same scenario and it’s never called? genuinely this has to happen way more than when it’s called
@Kraft4Prez@MLB@MLBUA@Cubs i understand but it’s not like he slides into the base darts up and heads for third? when he establishes his base initially not knowing it’s ball four, then he’s told i’m gonna guess he stood up and semien still had the tag on after over-sliding? just honestly a terrible rule…
@j92@Kraft4Prez@MLB@MLBUA@Cubs if he’s darting for third like he’s going it makes sense. but i assume he was getting up and walking off the bag, trying to collect himself. assuming he didn’t just call time?
@Kraft4Prez@MLB@MLBUA@Cubs yeah this doesn’t make sense. he’s sliding into the base, so on ball four he can wonder around and not touch the base until he’s ready too? why isn’t the play ruled dead on ball four.
@be_shouldnt@MLB@MLBUA@Cubs i mean yes he was out if it wasn’t ball 4, but he hadn’t touched the base yet on ball four. so your telling me if a player slides into second base, not knowing it’s ball four, and clearly the umpire said “ball four” so he can’t leave the base after he slide in 100 miles an hour?
