I fundamentally and completely reject the idea that America will not thrive without illegal foreign labor.
Or that we cannot have thriving farms without illegal foreign labor.
It’s an insult to every part of our heritage, to generations of our families that bled to build what we have today.
Actual farmers, who are following the rules and doing it the right way, don't want or need illegal foreign labor.
They want to be paid fairly for what they’re growing. They want their kids to see opportunity in farming not just struggle.
They want to know that not only can their kids stay on the farm but want to stay because they know they can build a family and life.
They want inputs to be affordable, Big Ag giants to stop undercutting them, and to know their neighbors are not Chinese nationals.
But, every time there's a push for amnesty in DC, the talking points are always the same: "We have to do this for the (insert group)."
This time they're saying: "It's what the farmers want!"
But, it’s always the same lobbyists and multinational corporations profiting off cheap foreign labor that are feeding politicians those talking points.
As a member of @NEFarmBureau I expect a public explanation of their position on this matter. It would be helpful if @llockefield and the team at @NECattlemen would clarify their position and engagement representing the cattle industry as well.
A public explanation would go a long way to clear up any misunderstandings.
I guess those of us who live in the southeastern part of Nebraska don’t matter to Brett Lindstrom. That was the banner on Brett's Media Release yesterday. I don’t know how his team could have sent out a release with an image that cuts off our beautiful part of the state.
For the record, I do not support any third-party or independent run for either Governor or United States Senator. Each party has a vetting process, and more and more we’re seeing candidates who cannot make it through that process look for an easier path. A shortcut.
Brett Lindstrom has run as a Republican for Congress in 2012, told voters he was a conservative Republican when he ran for the Legislature in 2014 and 2018, ran for Governor as a Republican in 2022, ran again as a Republican for Congress earlier this year, and now—when it’s most convenient—he’s running for Governor as an “Independent.”
The truth is, Brett Lindstrom’s voting record on key issues—benefits for illegal immigrants, increasing the gasoline tax, and eliminating the death penalty to name a few—aligns more closely with the Democratic Party.
Lindstrom’s all-Omaha ticket is a slap in the face to voters west of Elkhorn, and allowing an image that cuts off southeast Nebraska is further proof that he just doesn’t care or isn't paying attention.
Nebraska needs a Governor for all of Nebraska, not someone who needs to take a shortcut. We cannot allow our state to be overtaken by a left-wing Democrat like Lynn Walz or a fake Independent like Brett Lindstrom.
Make no mistake about it — campaigns in NE-02 are won by first building a diverse grassroots coalition on the ground as our team has done from the very beginning.
I’m honored to have the support of dozens of Nebraska leaders that we all know and trust, but the greatest endorsement I’ll ever receive is your vote this November.
Together, we will make life more affordable for Nebraska families and reform Washington to make them more accountable to the people they serve.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?
Nebraska Dem @DeniseForNE is tied to a radical group pushing:
❌ Sex education for kindergartners
❌ Gender ideology in elementary schools
❌ An agenda that sidelines parents
Nebraskans will reject this indoctrination

America’s 250th: Restoring Our Founders’ Vision 🇺🇸
250 years ago, brave patriots pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to this country.
Our leaders today have abandoned that calling. Politicians are getting ahead and the people are falling behind.
That has to change.
I’m Brinker Harding, and I’m running for Congress to make Washington work for YOU.

Huge news for Nebraska today in the Supreme Court--our motion for leave to file our complaint against Colorado has been granted in its entirety!
We now get the opportunity to vindicate our water rights in front of the highest court in the land.
A very significant step for the future of our state.
Great work by our water rights and solicitor general teams.
I was honored to visit the Nebraska booth at the Great American State Fair in Washington D.C. as our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary. It was wonderful connecting with fellow Nebraskans and speaking with visitors from across the country about all that Nebraska has to offer. A truly memorable experience on such a historic occasion for our great nation🇺🇸
PASSED!
When disaster strikes, farmers can’t afford to wait on Washington.
House Republicans voted to help farmers and forest landowners access recovery funds faster and start rebuilding sooner.
Three days ago we gathered in the Capitol to pray for agriculture, in a year when farmers and ranchers have dealt with drought, fires, floods, and wind.
We specifically prayed for rain.
This is Nebraska rainfall in the days that followed.
Prayer works, and we need more of it.
In 29 days, we will celebrate the 250th birthday of our exceptional nation, which became the greatest of all because we were the first to declare the self-evident truth that all people are created equal by God.
Not “born equal.” We are “CREATED equal.”
Because God made us all in His image, it means EVERY SINGLE PERSON has inestimable DIGNITY and VALUE—and our value is not related in any way to the color of our skin, what zip code we live in, what our talents are, our health condition, or any other factor. Our value is inherent, because it is given to us by our loving Heavenly Father.
When a culture devolves to the point of depravity where “influencers” can go online and so casually dismiss the deliberate murder of their own precious child, the survival of that culture itself is at risk.
God have mercy on our nation as we pray and work for an end to this evil, for hearts and minds to change, and for a renewed understanding of the self-evident truths and the sanctity of all human life.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
Affordability starts at the gas pump. Nebraska corn powers E15, but outdated EPA rules block year-round use. It's time for a permanent fix, not another band-aid.
House Republicans just passed H.R. 1346 the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act.
This bill allows the year-round sale of E15 gasoline nationwide, expanding fuel choice, supporting American farmers, and helping lower costs at the pump.
Congrats @RepAdrianSmith!
The house took a bold step today to support our consumers by providing more choices at the pump!
E15 will lead to cheaper gas prices, more stability for our great farmers and our pioneering way of life, and more jobs for Americans.
We will continue this fight until year round E15 is passed into law.
