@risklikemonty You say goodbye to teams like Phoenix, AEO, Solitaire, and Dirt Bike Depot when you do this. And a good chance teams would shrink because 17 weeks with 4-5 bikes/riders a semi becomes a lot
@thall767@Abridgenotfar Believe the Lawrence brothers raced Cal Classic in 2021 or so, after they had gone pro. Don’t believe they won either. I promise Mikkel isn’t losing sleep over this. A bit different than riding a pro track 30+2
@AHeckman292@KKeefer120 Chaparral Motorsports is open 7 days a week, 20+ employees working the floor. From a fellow midwesterner, nothing holds a candle to California demand
@ProMotoFanTalk Won’t change. Mxsports believes its the fairest way of doing things and practice should be used as practice not a race aka time qualifying. Just the way amatuer racing has worked and will continue to
Appreciate the help for a privateer like me. Would not have made the second moto had it not been for their help! Missed site lap but was still able to take the gate. (2/2)
Thank you to Mitch and the @PCraceteam for stepping in 5 minutes before second moto to get my bike running. 3 mechanics and Mitch diagnosed my bike and got me on the line for the 2nd moto at high point. They borrowed me a battery and got me on the gate after the site lap (1/2)
@Checkerz448@CrossXRutted Correct, for those of us that don’t come in with a mass knowledge of the sport you learn the easiest way to get a deal is to perform at LL. So you devote your entire year for RACE. This sport is not cheap so the easiest way to pros is with a deal early. So we all thought anyways!
