I, and my @Regional_Grp Independent colleagues have been calling for a reduction of the hospitality VAT rate to 9% to reduce the pressure on our amazing cafes and restaurants such as @stableyardfood in Waterford. Closures are inevitable unless pressure is reduced. @RAI_ie @wlrfm

🚨Motion to restore 9% VAT rate for food-led hospitality businesses to be debated in the Dáil at 10am tomorrow morning🍽️

The Rural Independent group of TDs have brought forward a #VAT9 motion that calls for the permanent reinstatement of the lower rate for small, independent restaurants and cafés across the country.

It is vital that you contact your local TD asking them to support tomorrow's motion:
