I love the “aesthetic Christmas” and “beige mom” decor but my children will live in a house that has the loud Christmas music, colorful lights, loud toys, hand made ornaments on the tree that dont match, decor that isn’t “in style” & I hope they love it as much as I always did

We live in a world with unrealistic expectations for mothers while fathers aren’t held accountable to be an equal parent but instead of fixing those issues we slap a PPD diagnosis on every woman that expresses her feelings and frustrations with having kids or says she needs help

If you ask me what the hardest part of my sons first 2 years of life was I would say teething, but if you asked me how I feel seeing his last 2 teeth pop through I’d tell you I’m so sad it’s over because it just means he’s not my little newborn anymore 😭
