@NHL_Watcher Ovi clearly committed to change his game and was rewarded with a cup. Mac refuses to change his playing style, got lucky in 22 by playing 4 teams who were mostly mediocre including a tired lightning team. Otherwise he’s a total nonfactor in playoffs his entire career.
@Goatthingssss@cmasisak22 It’s so true. It’s almost worse that the injuries happened because the front office will be foolish enough to run it back and hope for better injury luck. They have zero answer for a team that clogs up the NZ and takes away the rush and they refuse to play different every year
@worldhockeyrpt Vegas would have beat us at full strength, if you watch the games it’s so clear this avalanche team has absolutely no jam whatsoever. No one pushed back on them all year until now
@RajOnRadio It’s because Minnesota has Ryan Hartman as their 1C. They’re so bad they fooled us into thinking the Avs are good. This is the first time they’ve played a good team all playoffs and it’s the same story different year
@SoCalAvsFan Vegas just fired their Stanley cup winning coach of 2023 and they’re about to win another one lol. Why do you think Bednar should have a job, if anything this series just proved he should not have one in about 4 days
@adater We ruined any chance we ever had when we inked those two to long term deals. I mean holy fuck I could’ve told CMAC neither of their games would translate to playoffs, look at their track records
@sn0b40 MacKinnon will only continue to decline , his speed is nowhere near the same as it used to be, somehow he’s fooled several people who cover this league into thinking he’s the same player that he was when they won the cup. Regular season means nothing FYI
@evanrawal The Avs got lucky and got the kings and the Wild in round 1 and 2, two teams that had no business even being in the playoffs so we’ve been fooled again into thinking this team was any different than years past. Turns out they still have a roster full of playoff no shows/frauds
