@Drizzle2412@KFCBarstool You can’t tell because this video doesn’t show the clock, but there was too much time left to run out the clock - this was a 15 second stretch that ended with 21 seconds left.
@JustinGraef12@barstoolsports With a missed free throw, a technical foul on Norwalk when they called a timeout they didn’t have after a foul that put DC-Grimes on the line, 3 more missed free throws before hitting the fourth and then two more free throws after a foul for a 47-42 DC-Grimes win.
@Pamchenkova Question - do you think we are seeing some Nassar fallout in the U.S. talent pool? Gymnasts who would have just been starting in 2016-2017 should be young seniors or juniors now.
@qqysarabian@GymMadness4 Also, both Maria Olaru and Simona Amanar have said the vault was low in practice, so some gymnasts thought it was wrong before the all-around competition.
@qqysarabian@GymMadness4 We don’t have proof, but there’s a chance the vault was set wrong throughout practice/competition in Sydney. Here’s a story on why that might have been: https://t.co/tkst1Ehqez

@WesGarbell @t3feri09 @OsheaJacksonJr Yes - as much as I enjoyed Rickman, he was playing a character who was 31 when Harry Potter started at Hogwarts. Essiedu is 34 right now, making him much closer to the right age.
@boldmango@rafakumagai@InsideGym Just the opposite - if anything, Sabrina is favored because of her mom and her accomplishments for Romanian gymnastics (part of the 1987 gold medal winning world team and 1988 silver medal Olympic team). This is probably one of those favors.
@tightsarntpants@CoraCHarrington Don’t joke about giving Barbosu’s bronze to Voinea - the politics in the Romanian gymnastics community is so crazy, I wouldn’t rule anything out.
@Pamchenkova So how does this work, now? Can CAS review new evidence in a case they’ve already made a decision on, is there a new hearing, does this have to go to the next level or does something else happen?
@DvoraMeyers@ameliamerr_ And Raducan’s father was one of the ones who encouraged her to accept that medal, because it was still a Romanian gold medal. Initially, Amanar and Olaru both said they would not accept reallocated medals.
@AllyHeatStan @vaultscoring There are definitely horrible fans out there, which is a shame, because Ana Barbosu has been a victim of bullying from former gymnasts and press in Romania, so her winning a medal should be one of the feel good stories of this event.
@hslotfallingpic @JamieL_99 @ROUWAGdeArkan I would also hope not. The original post does seem to be centered on this aspect of the situation, so hopefully, they're just making sure everything was done right, because if the inquiry was handled incorrectly, this will get uglier than it already is.
@hslotfallingpic @ROUWAGdeArkan Just to be clear, if they're investigating timing of the inquiry, it's most likely in relation to Barbosu. The gymnast whose mother is her coach is Voinea – she had the questionable out-of-bounds call. A lot of people have confused the two situations.
@illusionturns I'm inclined to allow this one, just because I like the alternate universe where Larisa Iordache and Kyla Ross were also medal winning gymnasts in 2020.
@Jadentheman1@njdlauren Saying the U.S. men suck compared to the rest of the world isn’t really accurate. I’d say they’re a solid A- team internationally - historically, they tend to make team finals, usually finish in the 4-6 range and occasionally grab a medal.
