We are wishing TJ a full and speedy recovery — sending strength to him and the family. The Lord's breath is TJ's breath in his lungs and He will fully recover. My mother was miraculously healed in the 70s when she was sent home to hospice due to TB. She couldn't even get out of bed, but God repaired all of the holes in her lungs and she lived another 30 years.. no issues at all with her lungs even though she lived with chain smokers. Since He did that for her, I know TJ will get to have the same or better!
As an owner of successful Acupuncture clinics and others, the modality is typically safe when performed by someone who is properly trained with Masters or Doctorate level education in Acupuncture specifically. I don't know the circumstances around TJ's injury. I do hope this was not part of it - there is a terrible growing issue regarding Acupuncture where states allow PTs, PAs, NPs and MDs to get a certificate of 60 - 100 hours online so they can perform Acupuncture. I feel that is very dangerous. Right now highly educated Doctorate level Acupuncturists are excluded from the legal definition of a Provider in our country which allows the certificate program to proliferate. This is the 3rd time legislation has been introduced to address this in HR 1667. I still don't think it is correct. It just needs to let Acupuncturists be seen as providers like a ND, MD, Chiro, etc. The certificate program needs to shut down ASAP so people don't get hurt. Acu helps far more than it hurts, but only when administered properly.
It's National Energy Conservation Day. Ways to conserve: 1. Wash clothes in cold water, 2. Unplug appliances/devices when not in use, 3. Open blinds in the Winter. 4. Close blinds in the Summer. 5. Switch to LED lights. Team work makes the dream work. We're all in this together.
It's National Best Friends Day. Time to celebrate the one who is always there whether you need a listening ear, wingman, good laugh, workout partner, shoulder to cry on or great advice. You name it, they're there for you. Cheers to all the BFF's out there! You are truly the BEST!
