Damn. This @WillyRibbs doc, “Uppity,” on @netflix got my ass in tears. This is an incredible story. Imagine what this man could have accomplished without racism. And he was the 1st Black Indy 500 driver in 1991, the year I graduated from college. Don’t think racism is old!
