The reason healthcare hasn’t completely imploded yet is purely because of HCW sacrifice. Not the strength of our economy. Not sound business models. Not proper administration. HCWs are shouldering the burden and keeping us afloat in spite of all that. They are the only reason.
Retail store employees get tested weekly... while health care employees get exposed to known positives without proper PPE and get told to “self monitor and take your temperature daily”

Glad hazards only apply to lower wages. Most hospital workers make more than $20/hour. The virus took one look at me and said “oh she makes too much money, I can’t infect her.”
