@madhattermatter@Okie_Rancher We are giving steroid and pain medication… Moving her regularly, offering food and water regularly, and praying over her… we are in constant consultation with our vet.
@SarahK804@Okie_Rancher Hi.I’m the girl in the picture.I understand why you would say that.she is one of our feeder calves… She was not meant to be pregnant.she is only 17 months old and does not even know what happened to her.the delivery impacted her nerves that affect her ability to stand. 🥹
@MarianaCTrench1@Okie_Rancher That’s my job.
I’m the girl in the picture.
We are consulting with our vet (even delivered baby with a vet) and are taking the best care of her we know how.
@aboutdoesit@Okie_Rancher I understand why you would say this, but surprisingly, that is not the case here. Her birth was so traumatic, her nerves were compromised during delivery.Those nerves impact her hind leg and knuckle movement.(I am the girl in the picture.) she is a first-time heifer with no idea
@Lazy_Rancher@Okie_Rancher We did Dex and Banamine… sticking with it. We are on day 4 (sadly) and praying!! (Weird to pray for a cow?? Can’t help it… I will prob never stop.)
@CowboyEastTexas@Okie_Rancher She was one of our feeder calves (not supposed to be pregnant) and the hip lift will not stay on her hip bones… They are pretty much nonexistent 🥹
