Pretty pumped with how our 2026 “Red N Tacky 150” trophy turned out. Our friends at Finishline Graphics in Grain Valley took an idea and knocked it out of the park! Who’s taking this baby home June 26th?
@oaksc17 There are definitely times and reasons to run a B with a short car count.. but very tough to do it knowing you’re sending one car home regardless.
Throwing it back to the early days of Lucas Oil Speedway. These photos capture the track shortly after Forrest Lucas purchased and expanded the facility. As we celebrate 20 years, we’re proud to honor the history that helped shape the Diamond of Dirt Tracks. 🏁

Pretty bummed about this one. We were excited to bring something new to @lucasspeedway. We will work to find a date to bring the trucks back, along with the other classes scheduled for May 30th.
🚨FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE🚨
Big Rig Truck Race at Lucas Oil Speedway Postponed Due to Weather Conditions
WHEATLAND, MO (May 29, 2026)
Lucas Oil Speedway officials have announced the postponement of this weekend’s American Big Rig Truck event due to ongoing and forecasted inclement weather.
Steady rainfall over the past 24 hours has significantly impacted track conditions at the facility. With additional rain expected tomorrow, officials feel that proceeding with the event would present concerns for both track integrity and racer safety.
One out of the norm concern is the weight of the competing trucks, which exceed 12,000 pounds. Combined with saturated track conditions, this creates a high likelihood of rough and unsafe racing surfaces that could pose risks to drivers and equipment.
“We want to give these teams every chance to put on a good safe race for our fans. This was scheduled to be their first time here at Lucas Oil Speedway, and we wanted it to be a successful one,” said speedway officials. “Given the amount of rain we’ve already received and more in the forecast, postponing the event is just the right thing to do.”
We will look to reschedule all classes, including the American Big Rig Trucks at a future date in 2026. Any presold tickets will be automatically refunded.

“Dad you should probably get Miley Cyrus to sing the National Anthem at the Hockett.”
“That would be pretty expensive.”
“Just pay her $2,000. She’s already a billionaire.”

What a long, challenging weekend. 9+ inches of rain, lightning wiped out all sorts of equipment Wednesday, but all of our staff kept digging and pulled off a pretty damn successful weekend. It took an extra day but we got all 3 shows in when many were saying we should cancel the whole thing. Fans got to see some good racing and the teams got 3 shots at making a paycheck.
Appreciate the fans, the campers, the series, the teams, the sponsors, and our staff for sticking things out with us. 2027 Show Me 100 will be bigger, and better yet!
