The US government is engaging in large scale suppression of the oil price, which is leading to evaporating stockpiles and inventories.

It hasn't done anything to address the actual tightness in oil markets.

It has pulled the wool over the eyes of most investors by jamming the information signal with false hoods and fake narratives.

Inventories & Reserves are at all time lows (undeniable)

You've been lied to and misled dozens of times (proven).

They might even be manipulating the futures price (unproven).

They've pushed the pros OUT of the trade, which helps further suppress prices.

It ruffles feathers when I say it, but one reason for this is likely that the typical employee-boss relationship feels fundamentally effeminizing.

There are only a few real options:

1. You're your boss's "boy" indefinitely, and he controls what you do and when you do it.
2. You do the above for a while on the hope that one day, you'll be the boss (no promises)
3. You find a way to skip employment entirely and either become the boss, or are self-employed with no employees
4. You decide to opt out of the game entirely by dropping out of society (woods hermit / hobo / expat)
5. You decide to opt out of the game entirely by total failure to launch / hikkikomori mode

#1 is untenable except for the most defeated, effeminized sorts of men; #2 might ultimately just be a mirage; #3 involves substantial risks and contains serious financial barriers to entry; #4 is downright scary for many; #5 is increasingly common in lieu of having the cajones to do the other 4...

But at bottom, many men find the idea of indefinite employment under a boss to be acutely humiliating, womanly, degrading, etc. in a way that women generally do not.

Sure -- genuinely "good" jobs do exist, but for most working-class people, they've never seen it done or are convinced they could never access such jobs...

So the labor force participation rate for men continues to decline. Makes total sense IMO, especially as workplaces do more of the "HR longhouse" stuff...

We can declassify documents, stage hearings, and post talking points on the internet all day. But none of it matters when we have a justice system that refuses to deliver genuine, bipartisan accountability, impartial to political influence from any direction.

Right now, Trump has the ultimate power to pursue that accountability, and he’s choosing not to. That tells you everything you need to know.

We know who will hide behind performative outrage about Fauci, Iran, or the Deep State while taking no real action in efforts to shield their political careers—and we know who will actually stand up, fight, & tell the truth, no matter how uncomfortable the consequences may be.

The problem isn’t the War Machine, foreign interests trying to push us into war, or the Deep State & their pathetic apparatchiks like Fauci seeking to control us.

The problem is putting our faith in leaders, again and again, who lack the courage to fight them.
