@Lorey082 @brownsonjacob2 After 18 innings game 3 Ohtani needed medical ivs but roberts made him pitch the very next day into 7th inning, and in game 7 left him in 3rd inning when everyone watching saw ohtani just didn’t have it and was lucky to get out base loaded jam earlier.

@katiejwoo The only thing last night was a good example of is the idiocy of Dave Roberts and the historic baseball he has stolen from fans across the world. All you have to do is watch 2021-2023 Ohtani and know that there is no need for “concessions” and he plays best pitching AND hitting.

@TylerKepner Also dont get me started on his stubborn/irrational use of Blake Treinen. Treinen was brilliant in 2024 postseason but 2025 treinen was one of the worst relievers. And roberts continued use of treinen (one of “his guys”) would’ve lost them nlds if Roki didn’t bail him out.

@TylerKepner He almost lost the World Series when he left shohei in for the third inning when everyone watching saw shohei clearly didn’t have it from the beginning and was lucky to get out second inning scoreless with bases loaded. How is that a masterclass?
